How we work

What happens between an enquiry and collection.

We broker used industrial machines and production lines between owners and buyers. This page explains who pays our fee, how an inspection works, how payment is handled and which costs you see before you decide.

The model

The owner gets their price. Only one side pays our fee.

Price, photos and details of a machine are sent on request. You learn the owner's name and the exact location once the brokerage agreement is signed; that agreement also fixes our fee.

  1. 01

    The owner's price, in full

The owner decides what they want to receive for the machine and is paid that amount in full. Our fee is included in the price the buyer pays. Every agreement we sign states who we act for and that only one side pays the fee.

  2. 02

    Anonymous until signed

Until the brokerage agreement is signed, a buyer knows the region the machine is in, but not the owner's name, the exact address or the serial number. The owner knows there is a buyer, but not who it is. Once the agreements are signed, we introduce buyer and owner in one joint email.

  3. 03

    The owner's data and photos

We present each machine with the data and photos the owner sends. Before signing, we blur only what would identify the owner, such as company names, signs and the serial-number plate. Anything nobody has checked yet is described as “according to the owner” until the machine is inspected.

  4. 04

    You buy from the owner

We prepare the purchase contract, and the owner and the buyer sign it. AMP is not a party to that contract. The owner issues the invoice for the machine.

Inspection before payment

See the machine running before you pay.

Inspections take place on site with the machine under power, on a date you choose, subject to the owner's availability.

  1. 01

    The date

Suggest a day that suits you and we agree it with the owner.

  2. 02

    Under power, or on video

The machine is connected and running while you look at it. If you cannot travel, the owner films it working and you get the video before you pay.

  3. 03

    What is checked

The nameplate and serial number, running hours or the counter reading, the control system, the machine in operation and the documents that come with it.

  4. 04

    The record

We write down what was checked and who was there. Price, payment date, collection date and who does the loading are agreed in writing at the inspection or right after it.

Until handover, the owner keeps the machine maintained and removes no parts.

Payment security

Every payment is known in advance and goes through a bank.

How much you pay, to whom and by when is in the contract before you pay a deposit.

  1. 01

A deposit only after you have seen it

The deposit is paid at the inspection. Without an inspection, it is paid when the purchase contract is signed, before any transport is sent. Never before you have seen the machine or its photos.

  2. 02

    Two payments, stated up front

The purchase contract sets out two payments: one to the owner for the machine and one to us for our fee.

  3. 03

    Nothing leaves before full payment

The machine is not dismantled or taken away until the full amount has arrived.

  4. 04

    Refundable €500 reservation

If you wish, you can reserve a machine with €500. It counts toward the price and is refunded if the machine does not match its description.

  5. 05

    Notary deposit or escrow

For prices over €20,000 the money can be held by a third party, as a deposit with a notary or in an escrow account. The buyer covers that cost.

  6. 06

    Bank transfer only

Payment is by bank transfer only, never in cash. The owner invoices the machine; we invoice only our fee.

  7. 07

    Check bank details another way

We never publish bank details on this website. We also confirm our own account in a message from our phone, not by email alone, and you check the owner's account by phone with the owner. If an email announces a “new” account number, do not pay until you have checked it on a number you already have.

No machine leaves the site before full payment.

With every offer

The price, and what comes with it.

Prices are for the machine as it is, where it is. So the offer also covers the costs that come after, and you know what the machine will cost by the time it reaches you.

For every machine

Along with the price

  • The machine price, with our fee already included
  • An estimate for transport to you: one or two carrier quotes, or a per-kilometre estimate with its source
  • Who pays for dismantling and loading, and what it is loaded with (forklift or crane), with dimensions and weight
  • A note on VAT and customs for your case

Buyers outside the EU

Customs, import VAT and power supply

  • Export and import declarations, customs duty and import VAT are paid by the buyer
  • The buyer arranges transport
  • Voltage and frequency (for example 400 V / 50 Hz or 480 V / 60 Hz), and who adapts the machine to your supply

Limits

What we don't do.

  • No auctions or bidding.
  • No real estate. We broker equipment only.
  • We do not buy machines for ourselves or resell them. You buy directly from the owner.
  • Faults are not hidden. If the owner reports one, so do we.
  • CE conformity is never claimed without a declaration of conformity for that exact machine.
  • No invented deadlines. A deadline is given only when it is real.
